            We report measurements of production cross sections for , , , , , , , , , , , , , , and in collisions at a center-of-mass energy near 10.58 GeV. The data were recorded by the Belle experiment, consisting of at 10.58 GeV and at 10.52 GeV. Production cross sections are extracted as a function of the fractional hadron momentum . The measurements are compared to Monte Carlo generator predictions with various fragmentation settings, including those that have increased fragmentation into vector mesons over pseudoscalar mesons. The cross sections measured for light hadrons are consistent with no additional increase of vector over pseudoscalar mesons. The charmed-meson cross sections are compared to earlier measurements—when available—including older Belle results, which they supersede. They are in agreement before application of an improved initial-state radiation correction procedure that causes slight changes in their shapes.             Double- and single-differential cross sections for inclusive charged-current -nucleus scattering are reported for the kinematic domain 0 to in three-momentum transfer and 0 to 2 GeV in available energy, at a mean energy of 1.86 GeV. The measurements are based on an estimated 995,760 charged-current (CC) interactions in the scintillator medium of the NOvA Near Detector. The subdomain populated by 2-particle-2-hole (2p2h) reactions is identified by the cross section excess relative to predictions for -nucleus scattering that are constrained by a data control sample. Models for 2-particle-2-hole processes are rated by comparisons of the predicted-versus-measured CC inclusive cross section over the full phase space and in the restricted subdomain. Shortfalls are observed in neutrino generator predictions obtained using the theory-based València and SuSAv2 2p2h models.             We report a search for neutrino oscillations to sterile neutrinos under a model with three active and one sterile neutrinos ( model). This analysis uses the NOvA detectors exposed to the NuMI beam, running in neutrino mode. The data exposure, protons on target, doubles that previously analyzed by NOvA, and the analysis is the first to use charged-current interactions in conjunction with neutral-current interactions. Neutrino samples in the near and far detectors are fitted simultaneously, enabling the search to be carried out over a range extending 2 (3) orders of magnitude above (below) . NOvA finds no evidence for active-to-sterile neutrino oscillations under the model at 90% confidence level. New limits are reported in multiple regions of parameter space, excluding some regions currently allowed by IceCube at 90% confidence level.             Abstract Measuring observables to constrain models using maximum-likelihood estimation is fundamental to many physics experiments. Wilks' theorem provides a simple way to construct confidence intervals on model parameters, but it only applies under certain conditions. These conditions, such as nested hypotheses and unbounded parameters, are often violated in neutrino oscillation measurements and other experimental scenarios. Monte Carlo methods can address these issues, albeit at increased computational cost. In the presence of nuisance parameters, however, the best way to implement a Monte Carlo method is ambiguous. This paper documents the method selected by the NOvA experiment, the profile construction. It presents the toy studies that informed the choice of method, details of its implementation, and tests performed to validate it.             We perform an angular analysis of the decay for the dielectron mass squared, , range of using the full Belle dataset in the and channels, incorporating new methods of electron identification to improve the statistical power of the dataset. This analysis is sensitive to contributions from right-handed currents from physics beyond the Standard Model by constraining the Wilson coefficients . We perform a fit to the differential decay rate and measure the imaginary component of the transversality amplitude to be , and the transverse asymmetry to be , with and fixed to the Standard Model values.             We measure the complete set of angular coefficients for exclusive decays ( , ). Our analysis uses the full Belle dataset with hadronic tag-side reconstruction. The results allow us to extract the form factors describing the transition and the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element . Using recent lattice QCD calculations for the hadronic form factors, we find using the Boyd-Grinstein-Lebed parametrization, compatible with determinations from inclusive semileptonic decays. We search for lepton flavor universality violation as a function of the hadronic recoil parameter and investigate the differences of the electron and muon angular distributions.             We present a measurement of the branching fraction and fraction of longitudinal polarization of decays, which have two ’s in the final state. We also measure time-dependent violation parameters for decays into longitudinally polarized pairs. This analysis is based on a data sample containing mesons collected with the Belle II detector at the SuperKEKB asymmetric-energy collider in 2019–2022. We obtain , , , and , where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. We use these results to perform an isospin analysis to constrain the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa angle and obtain two solutions; the result consistent with other Standard Model constraints is .             We report the results of the first search for decays to the final state using of data collected at the resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy collider. The results are interpreted in terms of both direct baryon-number-violating decay and oscillations which follow the standard model decay . We observe no evidence for baryon number violation and set the 95% confidence-level upper limits on the ratio of baryon-number-violating and standard model branching fractions to be and on the effective angular frequency of mixing in oscillations to be (equivalent to ).             This Letter reports a search for charge-parity ( ) symmetry violating nonstandard interactions (NSI) of neutrinos with matter using the NOvA Experiment, and examines their effects on the determination of the standard oscillation parameters. Data from and oscillation channels are used to measure the effect of the NSI parameters and . With 90% CL the magnitudes of the NSI couplings are constrained to be and . A degeneracy at is reported, and we observe that the presence of NSI limits sensitivity to the standard phase .             We present a comprehensive study of decays using pairs collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB collider. This process is a suppressed charmless decay into two vector mesons and can exhibit interesting polarization and violation. The decay is observed for the first time with a significance of 7.9 standard deviations. We measure a branching fraction , a fraction of longitudinal polarization , and a time-integrated asymmetry , where the first uncertainties listed are statistical and the second are systematic.
